AbstractThe extent to which the Arabic language Book includes the Average Grade of Higher Thinking Skills

The objective of the current research is to find out whether the Arabic language book for the first grade includes an average of higher thinking skills, the community research limited to the content of the book in its first and second parts, while the sample included the subjects of the book (49) subjects.
The researcher used analytical descriptive method based on its content analysis, to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher developed and developed the analysis tool, which is a list of the most important skills of higher thinking to be included in the Arabic language book for the first grade intermediate, and were two areas: The first field: the critical skill of thinking and consisted of (15) skill, and the second field: the creative skill of thinking consists of (15) skill, and the validity of the instrument was confirmed and stability in agreement with an external analyst and used the equation (Cooper) to calculate the stability of analysis.
The coefficient of constancy(0,85%), and to answer the questions of the search for the calculation of frequencies and percentages of public domain skills to the emergence of results in the Arabic language book, and the availability of higher thinking skills (critical and creative thinking skills) in varying degrees, came the skills of critical thinking ranked first with a frequency (441) by (62%),Followed by creative thinking skills (270) by (38%).
In the light of the results, several recommendations and suggestions were submitted for further research to complement the current research.
